The place where it all began
Much more than just salami
AN UNFORGETTABLE TASTE SENSATION
In the ancient market in the historic centre of Ortigia, one of the oldest and most fascinating neighbourhoods in Syracuse, is the place where our four decades of culinary history began.
It's the salumeria established by our father. A place that has never been just an ordinary delicatessen.
It’s a place where you can taste prestigious not only salami and cheese, but also lots of traditional Mediterranean specialities, passionately recovered from the past to bring you a genuine, premium quality product.
In fact, we have one sole and wonderful objective: satisfy our customers and take them on a journey into the best taste sensation ever!
A MECCA OF SICILIAN FLAVOURS
Our delicatessen counter welcomes tourists and locals with a wide range of products that you can try before your buy.
And if you want to stay to eat, we also offer generous salami and cheese boards that you can savour with one of the excellent wines from a wine list of over 200 labels: Sicilian wines, Pantelleria passiti liqueur wines, Malvasia, Muscat and lots of other varieties produced on our beautiful island.
Here's also our precious olive oil cellar, where you can choose from our prestigious selection of cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil, all sapiently created according to ancient values and production methods. Finally, we've also made some room for Bronte Pistachios DOP, Modica chocolate and lots of typical desserts, all crafted by small artisanal workshops that work completely outside the logic of the big distribution chains. In short, we offer an authentic selection of aromas and flavours to please every palate.
